About The Founder
Jude Titus is a Maryland Home Improvement Commission (MHIC) licensed contractor and a Maryland and DC-licensed real estate agent (ExecuHome Realty). From an early age, she exhibited a curiosity about how objects were made.
She was known to take things apart and put them back together. Her family recognized this and would enlist her help when there were little projects around the house that needed to be done.
At the age of 15, Jude took a stab at installing the ceramic tile that her mother wanted on the kitchen floor. She also figured out how to build a platform deck that was covered with green corrugated roof panels in the backyard against the house.
College Years
Jude attended the John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York. She moved to the DC-Maryland-Virginia Metro area in 1991 and continued her studies at the University of the District of Columbia.
She transferred again to Howard University and entered their Physician’s Assistant Program at the request of her parents. Although her father was a medical doctor and also having a family line of health care professionals, one of her uncles' was a handyman with many skill sets in the construction field. While she had acquired an extensive knowledge of medicine from her father, it wasn’t her passion to follow in her father’s footsteps. Having an innate sense of creativity, she was drawn more to watch over her uncle’s shoulder to learn more about construction, since it seemed to align more with her sense of handiness.
Turning A Passion Into A Career
After earning her license, Jude worked in real estate while performing handyman jobs for her friends for several years. It was in 2012 when she realized that she could create a business by combining her expertise in real estate and handyman work.
She took the required steps to obtain her General Contractor’s License. Jude obtained her MHIC License in the State of Maryland in 2017 and has been serving homeowners and businesses with their project needs ever since.
For her, client communication and satisfaction are of utmost priority. That’s why she always ensures there's a clear and constant channel of communication and that expectations are not only met, but are exceeded.
Following Her Passion
Since her high-school days, Jude has always had a passion for real estate and property development. This passion developed into a natural affinity that led to her fascination with neighborhood development and new home construction.
She also often found herself offering to do handy projects for her increasing circle of friends In the area. Eventually, she decided to get a real estate license. Jude earned her license in 2004 and is a license real estate agent (ExecuHome Realty) in DC and Maryland.
